Gregoire Besson Group expands into Asia and Africa with creation of new company Agriway

Gregoire Besson Group, a leader in agricultural cultivating machinery, has expanded its portfolio with the creation of Italy-based company, Agri Way.
The new company was formed when Gregoire Besson purchased a facility in the Ancona province of Italy to specifically serve the agricultural markets in Africa and Asia. This latest addition to the Gregoire Besson Group will focus on the development, production and distribution of smaller agricultural machinery including mould board ploughs; disc ploughs and harrows; cultivators; posthole borers; and small trailers.
This acquisition comes at the end of an extremely successful year for Gregoire Besson in the UK, which has seen the company celebrate its 20th anniversary; move to a purpose-designed headquarters on Spalding Road in Bourne, Lincolnshire; and the purchase of RABE AGRI, a manufacturer of ploughs, soil preparation implements and seeds, based in Bad Essen, in Germany.

“Gregoire Besson Group has had a fantastic year in terms of growth and development. However, this latest development is testament to our continued commitment to our customers, both existing and future,” explains the Managing Director of Gregoire Besson UK.
“The creation of Agri Way will not only help us to better serve our customers in Asia and Africa, but it will also provide us with an outlet to offer smaller agricultural machinery allowing us to offer a wider range of products to our customers,”.
