The award was given to IAM Agricultural Machinery, Grégoire Besson's distributor in Ireland; by the Irish Farmers Journal, in association with the National Ploughing Association. It recognises new product innovations that provide solutions to the many challenges that face farmers and farming in modern agriculture.

The mounted, reversible plough is designed to minimise the horsepower requirement. It features cranked legs for equal distribution of forces, a hydraulic auto reset safety device which is exclusive to Grégoire Besson; and a mechanical depth and transport wheel to achieve excellent depth control, resulting in an exceptionally well balanced plough.

Speaking for Grégoire Besson UK, Managing Director said - "This award is great news for Grégoire Besson and IAM. My congratulations go to the team for such an impressive stand at the ploughing match in Ireland."

The New Innovation Rosette Awards were open to all farm machinery companies exhibiting at the event, who used the National Ploughing Championships to showcase new products to the Irish market. In deciding the winners, special attention was paid to the key aspects of innovation bringing improved performance, safety at work and environmental protection.

Managing Director of Gregoire Besson is delighted with the positive reputation that IAM is building for Grégoire Besson in Ireland and is positive about the future relationships between the brand and Irish Farmers. He continued - "This shows commitment to Irish farmers and will help with relationships built over the past, promoting confidence in future relationships between farmers, Grégoire Besson and our distributor IAM. We’re proud to be dealing with such a professional company."
